I power it with my attention
I need the right panel of the app to be a dedicated place where I set up my Sigil by defining contrasts. It also needs chat because this is how I’m tuning it. It’s the same chat, only I’m modulating it with contrasts.
One chat substrate, different binding context. The dedicated Sigil panel is not separate from chat. It is the place where chat is interpreted as sigil shaping instead of only world rendering.
It’s going to be Sigil Workbench on one end and Conjuring on the other. In the Sigil Workbench I define the contrasts and change them to get the exact shape I want—the exact interaction with the contrasts. Then I open the Subjects panel. All of my defined subjects are there. It’s like setting the stage: planting my decorations, fixtures, furniture. I look at it through the contrasts while wearing the Sigil. I power it with my attention. I shape the Sigil. I put some subjects in there to see how they help or don’t help. Then I go to the chat panel and type away. Or maybe it’s fluid. I don’t know.
In the Sigil Workbench, you shape the lens. Chat is interpreted as contrast work: naming axes, tuning poles, selecting examples, deciding which fixtures clarify the shape. This is where “wearing the Sigil” gets built. In Conjuring, you type through the active Sigil. Raw text throws waves. Subjects enter the field as fixtures. The active contrasts determine how the field can respond. Attention powers the standing wave. I’d keep it fluid: one chat substrate with a posture selector, not separate chat systems. Workbench and Conjuring are two ends of the same instrument. Workbench asks, “what lens am I building?” Conjuring asks, “what world appears when I speak through it?”
